Tory Politicians Get a MakeOver for Re-Edition Magazine

This eerie, unsettling and brilliantly subversive shoot for Re-edition Magazine sees models masked as Conservative politicians dressed in designer garments from Balenciaga to Gareth Pugh.

Initially intended for a Halloween special, the spread features ‘George Bush’ holding a leash on ‘Tony Blair’ as he crawls on all fours by Bush’s side. Shot and styled by Betsy Johnson, the idea was to provide a flip side to a ‘nightmarish’ ideal.

The photos were taken around Parliament in Central London and the styling cleverly mimics the era the politician held power while maintaining notes of modern camp.
