February 21, 2024, New York, NYRolling Stone is excited to announce its return to the heart of Austin’s music scene with the second annual Future of Music showcase, presented by StockX. This eagerly anticipated event at the South by Southwest® (SXSW®) music festival promises to bring the sounds of tomorrow to the forefront, featuring a diverse lineup of artists set to perform from March 12 through March 15, 2024.

The showcase is a live extension of Rolling Stone’s Future of Music issue, set to hit newsstands in April, featuring artists from the magazine’s second annual Future 25 list. This list showcases the talents that have Rolling Stone’s staff most excited about the music industry’s future.

Concert Schedule Highlights:

  • Tuesday, March 12: Teezo Touchdown, Veeze, Lola Brooke, and Chase Shakur.
  • Wednesday, March 13: Peso Pluma, Young Miko, Kevin Kaarl, J Noa, and Pink Pablo.
  • Thursday, March 14: Flo Milli, Uncle Waffles, Black Sherif, and Flyana Boss, with an opening performance by Preacher, presented by ~POURRI, and special guest Pheelz. Guests will enjoy specialty cocktails by BACARDI®.
  • Friday, March 15: Faye Webster, Red Clay Strays, Scowl, Dylan Gossett, and Jackie Venson.

Last year’s showcase drew in 12,000 attendees over four nights, featuring performances by 24 artists, including notable names such as Coco Jones and Chloe Bailey. This year’s event promises to be an even more dynamic celebration of music’s future.

In a commitment to mental health advocacy within the music industry, the showcase will also feature merchandise and the iconic mural by Daniel Johnston, presented in collaboration with Hi How Are You.
