LinkedIn joins AI-powered ad copy trend

Looks like LinkedIn is introducing its own AI-powered tool for generating ad copies.

The tool suggests different versions of ad text by using data from a marketer’s LinkedIn page and Campaign Manager settings.

This feature is currently being tested in North America and will be expanded to new regions in the future. LinkedIn is leveraging OpenAI models to create the copy suggestions.

The goal is to help marketers boost creativity, save time, and focus on producing impactful campaigns. LinkedIn has been actively using generative AI across its platform, including for conversation starters, profile bios, and recruitment posts.

The trend of using AI for ad copy is also seen in Meta and Google’s marketing solutions. As the competition in advertising grows, AI tools are becoming essential for marketers to streamline their processes and optimize their campaigns.
