If you haven’t yet researched or spoken with influencers regarding their pay rates, you may be in for a shock. Most pro influencers (those with between 100k and a million followers) make around $5,000 to $6,000 a month. This number often comes from multiple revenues from subscriptions and tips from dedicated followers to brand partnerships, and platform bonuses.
Most pro influencers are signed to agencies who take a 20% cut in exchange for connecting creators with major brand deals and content opportunities. Having said that, the smartest influencers maximise on their own skills as a way to repurpose as much content as possible and stay on top of their workloads.
Here are a few applications we advise influencers to take a look at in order to create a smoother workflow:
As a music artist and content creator, I swear by linktree. It is literally the link in all my bios from Twitter to Instagram. It also gives fans an overview on all the things you do. Mine links to my Spotify and Apple Music profiles but also to my TikTok and Instagram pages, links to get tickets to my next gig, links to my NFT drop for those interested in crypto etc.
Linktree has a free plan, but some pay $7 a month for it to access more features like customised buttons, more integrations with different monetization tools, and scheduling of links.
If you’re a content creator, you’ll know that the iPhone or Android camera is always better quality than if you are to film or shoot in-app. For that reason, I recommend filming on your phone camera and editing everything in InShot. You can add cinematic captions, colour grade and download the video in 4k meaning you can repurpose the content on literally every platform.
BigVu is a teleprompter and caption-generating app. It allows creators to input the script of the video you’re filming without having to learn it all by heart. This helps when reenacting scenes that are very long or complicated.
Through Repurpose, creators can automatically download videos from TikTok without the watermark and upload them on multiple social-media platforms without doing the manual work of reposting it yourself. It also integrates with Dropbox, Google Drive, and podcasting platforms.
This tool is on the pricier side, costing $15 a month for the most basic plan.
