So far we’ve learnt what NFTs are and how they can generate some passive income. But what about from a marketing perspective? How can NFTs act as a form of exposure for our work? Let’s take a closer look.
The short answer is that if your artwork is on one of these NFT marketplaces it’s going to be seen by more people and that’s never a bad thing. If curators select your work, it can be on their social media accounts, and you can get more visibility and popularity.Several marketplaces have popped up around NFTs, which allow people to buy and sell. These include Foundation (named after Isaac Asimov’s book. Cool, right?) OpenSea, Rarible, and Grimes’ choice, Nifty Gateway, but there are plenty of others.
Show another side to your art
Grimes is a great example of this. Many know her for her music but she also is gaining an audience via NFT marketplaces for her visual art. She even sold a digital video on Nifty Gateway for $388,938.00.
Quite simply, memes are doing well. If you have the knack for blowing memes up go and sell their rights!
